Details: Join Texas Law Students for Reproductive Justice and the American Constitution Society for a discussion about the future of reproductive choice in the Supreme Court with Professor Reva Siegel of Yale Law School. Snacks provided!
Reva Siegel is the Nicholas deB. Katzenbach Professor of Law at Yale Law School. Her work focuses on sex equality, how social movements shape constitutional law, and the popularization of antiabortion arguments that focus on protecting women.
Her current scholarship offers a fresh understanding of how the Supreme Court’s abortion jurisprudence addresses laws that invoke not potential life but women’s health as a reason to single out abortion for burdensome regulation that has the effect of closing clinics.
